Somewhere in all the chaos we call life I got bitten by the video bug and my life was changed forever. Somewhere along the line I fell in love with the camera, not just video but stills as well and I made the decision to go into the Photography Program at school. I figured it would make my video camera work better and in the long run it has.

When I walked into Nancy Gall’s Color class, at Riverside City College, I had no idea how that class would transform my life. On the last day of the semester I swapped numbers with the cute girl with the big red lips. Regrettably we did not keep in touch that Summer but in the Fall I took another class with Nancy to my surprise the girl with the big red lips was there!

I immediately latched on to her because she was the only other person I knew in a class full of strangers. Bri Selene and I became unofficial photo partners and did most of our Photography Class assignments together. We spent more and more time together and by October 25th I asked her to be my girlfriend.

Five years later, to the day, Ice(Fredy Sedano) and Fire(Bri Selene) became one. It’s funny how life happens when you are planning something else. One decision leads to another and the pursuit of the camera lead me to the love of my life: the Yin to my Yang, the jelly to my peanut butter, the Fire to my Ice. We went to rival high schools in the same city but we only met because of our shared love of capturing beautiful shadows.

We have had so many adventures… I could not have found a more perfect partner in crime. Now Ice + Fire are partners in business, life and love.

Not bad for a guy who fell in love with the camera, right?
